Granny was doped up from cocaine and fentanyl, Katherine Stiles died in a Charlotte hospital
New reports show that Katherine Stiles, 38, died from a cocaine and fentanyl overdose in Charlotte, NC at Novant Presbyterian Medical Center. Katherine had 3 teenage children, Katherine also had two grandchildren. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram. Katherine was a very young grandmother.
Katherine died on February 20, 2024. Katherine had a past medical history of substance use. Fentanyl is killing people by the case load.
Katherine was taken to the hospital unresponsive after overdosing on drugs. Hospital staff found fentanyl, cocaine, and cannabis in Katherine’s piss during a urination screening.
The drugs caused Katherine to have ischemic brain damage. After several days in the hospital intensive care unit, Katherine died during care. Katherine’s organs were donated. But it is unlikely that organs with fentanyl in them can be used, because the fentanyl may kill the person the organs are being donated to.
Katherine’s official cause of death was fentanyl and cocaine toxicity.
