An Amazon employee has been arrested after he allegedly shot his Amazon co-worker at an Amazon Fulfillment Center in West Columbia, SC on December 20, 2022. Jonathan Harden Alique Walker, 20, is charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
Jonathan worked at the Amazon facility and he got into an argument with one of his co-workers. Jonathan is accused of then shooting his male co-worker multiple times in the amazon parking lot.
Jonathan fled the scene. Another Amazon employee that saw the shooting then drove the victim off the property for help. EMS then responded to the 911 call location where the victim was driven to.
The victim went into emergency surgery and is in critical condition. Jonathan was arrested at his home on December 21, 2022. Jonathan is in custody at the Lexington County Detention Center.
In a legal proceeding Amazon would likely be held liable to the victim because the shooting occurred on Amazon’s property and was carried out by an Amazon employee.
