80-year-old Betty Hearn was murdered in a shooting by her granddaughter 30-year-old Kelsie Miles in Dallas, Texas on March 17, 2024 according to prosecutors.
At 5:10 a.m. grandmother Betty was shot in the head at a residence.
Authorities say Kelsie then came to the police department and told cops that she shot grandmother Betty with a Smith & Wesson .380. Officers went to the home where the shooting happened and knocked on the door. After not getting a response from anyone inside, cops forced their way into the residence.Officers found grandmother Betty on the floor dead with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
Kelsie was arrested and charged with murder. There is no inclination as to why grandmother Betty was murdered.
