Video shows cops harassed a man and approached him for no lawful reason, they got shot at in return
Surveillance and body cam video caught a liquor store shootout in action in LA, California. LAPD Officer Alicia Garcia and Officer Marco Munoz stopped a man unconstitutionally just for walking back into a liquor store. The suspect’s name is Malik Salaah, 33.
The shooting was on August 31, 2025, around 1:10 a.m. The officers were conducting patrol near a liquor store. Malik walked outside of the store, and as cops rode on the same street, Malik went back in the store.
Cops then thought that was a good enough reason to approach and detain Malik unconstitutionally. It is unlawful for police to detain someone just for walking into a store. Cops go in the liquor store while Malik is looking at snacks and liquor.
Police then illegally grab and try to detain Malik assuming he had a gun. It is not illegal to carry a gun, hence your Second Amendment Right to bear arms.
Malik pulls away and runs to the drink aisle. Cops run after him and a shootout begins, it is unclear who shot first. Both Malik and the cops shot at each other.
The cops ran away out of the store. Malik is seen shooting at cops and runs to the exit. Malik was shot in the process and was arrested down the street.
Malik was arrested charged with attempted murder. Unfortunately no officers were shot.
