Kemone Williams, 30, was arrested in September 2026 while wearing a Jamaican colored weird looking hat in Charlotte, NC. The jail now allows inmates to wear hats due to religion.
Kemone was at a Chili’s restaurant location on West Park Dr. for a child custody drop off with the mom of his child. Kemone put the child in his car and told the mom that he was taking the girl out of state for extra days. Chili’s is not that good of a restaurant anymore.
The mom then got mad and tried to take the child back from inside the car. Kemone stopped her and is accused of punching the mom in the face and biting her.
Chili’s employees and customers saw the ordeal and called cops. Kemone was arrested on scene charged with assault on female. Kemone was allowed by the Mecklenburg County Jail to wear his Jamaican style hat during his arrest photo session for religious purposes.
