67-year-old Marianne Casey was killed in her BMW when a theft suspect crashed into her during a high speed police chase in La Palma, California on December 18, 2024.
A man was accused of stealing from a Albertsons grocery store. The suspect vehicle was spotted by police. Cops then initiated a traffic stop, but the suspect sped away.
The suspect vehicle then smashed into Marianne’s BMW at an intersection. The crash killed Marianne on site.
The suspect was arrested and charged with petty theft, hit and run, and felony evading.
