A male victim identified as Nasir Boyd, 20, was shot dead on March 14, 2024 at an apartment complex on Tanager Park Dr Charlotte, NC. The victim was a small time local rapper. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.
The homicide occurred at the Ivy Hollow apartments at 2 p.m. The victim was shot in a car.
Paramedics were called and took the victim to the hospital with life threatening injuries, but the victim died at the hospital. The nearby Charlotte Mecklenburg Academy was placed on lock down for a few minutes while police conducted their investigation. No arrests have been made.
