36-year-old Rachelle Bryant is an employee at a care giving company for old people, Rachelle was arrested on July 18, 2026 accused of elder exploitation. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Officers were alerted by an operator of a caregiving company that a new employee identified as Rachelle had allegedly been taking advantage of an 82-year-old client of the company.
The 82-year-old male victim has dementia. Cops spoke with the old man and he advised that he had given Rachelle permission to live with him after she worked for him temporarily for one day via the care giving company. The old man also advised that Rachelle had taken him on a trip to Virginia, where his financial cards were used to make payments for the both of them.
Officers then spoke with the daughter of the victim who advised that she had power of attorney over her father due to his mental health condition, she stated that she had not given Rachelle permission to live with her daddy.
The daughter got angry and pronounced eviction proceedings on Rachelle. The eviction was granted and Rachelle was evicted from the old man’s house in May 2026.
The old man’s daughter then discovered that the man’s financial cards were being used and were no longer in his possession. Rachelle is accused of using the old man’s credit cards to make purchases, one in amount of $1,300.
Rachelle was arrested in July 2026 charged with exploit elder and financial card theft.
