41-year-old Paula Williams was arrested on February 8, 2025 accused of DWI on Perimeter Parkway Charlotte, NC. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.
Around 10 p.m. a Mercedes Benz was traveling the wrong way on Perimeter Parkway near North Lake Mall. A cop initiated blue lights and sirens in an attempt to get the vehicle to turn around, the vehicle continued to travel in the wrong direction.
Paula was allegedly driving the Mercedes Benz, she finally was stopped in a traffic stop.
The officer approached the suspect vehicle and Paula allegedly had an odor of alcohol emitting from her, red glossy eyes, and slurred speech.
Paula stepped out of the vehicle to perform drunk driving tests. Cops say she was unsteady on her feet. Click here to see more DWI arrests.
According to police Paula performed poorly on the tests, including the walk and turn along with the leg stand.
Paula was arrested charged with DWI. Prosecutors say Paula blew a .18 on a breathlyzer test. The legal limit is 0.8.
