Ashleigh Currence, 33, was arrested in Charlotte, NC on April 25, 2024 accused of getting in a high speed chase with cops while kids were in the car.
Ashleigh was driving on North Tryon St with 5 children in the car that were at or under the age of 11, cops say.
At 10 p.m. cops tried to pull Ashleigh over in a traffic stop for allegedly driving with a suspended license. Ashleigh is accused of fleeing from cops and not stopping.
Authorities say a chase began which put the kids at significant risk. The alleged chase came to an end and Ashleigh was arrested charged with flee/elude arrest with vehicle and child abuse.
