VIDEO: SHOOTING AT MALL, 2 TEEN VICTIMS SHOT

A Christmas shopping shooting erupted inside Franklin Park Mall in Toledo, Ohio on December 26, 2023. A 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were shot.

Crowds of people were at the mall shopping one day after the Christmas holiday. It was in the food court that the 16-year-old boy accidentally shot himself. The bullet ricocheted and then hit the 15-year-old girl.

Shoppers began screaming and running immediately. Police were on scene and saw the shooter running with one hand in his waistband. Click here to see a man being murdered during a triple shooting at a mall.

Cops chased the shooter through the food court and Dick’s Sporting Goods, but lost him in the parking lot. Even after being shot, the teen shooter was still able to evade cops.

It was also in the parking lot where cops discovered the female victim that had been shot. The girl was shot in the leg at the food court, but friends helped her walk to the parking lot.

The shooter was arrested blocks away hiding in a dumpster. Both teens suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The teen shooter has been charged with felonious assault and illegally carrying a concealed weapon.
