A Charlotte Area Transit Systems bus driver was fired and arrested after slapping a passenger in the face on February 4, 2024 in Charlotte, NC.
The incident occurred at the uptown Charlotte transit center. The victim identified as Wilbert Little asked the driver when the bus was leaving.
The driver replied, “When I get on it.” That reply led to a brief argument between the two men.
Wilbert then tried to get on the bus, but the driver closed the doors and waved bye, not allowing Wilbert to enter. See below video of a man showing his private parts on the city bus.
Wilbert then went upstairs to catch the Light Rail train and tell a manager what occurred.
The bus driver then follows Wilbert on foot upstairs and slaps him twice in the face. The bus driver was arrested accused of simple assault and communicating threats.
