Newly released video shows a Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) bus driver being shot in the chest while driving a city bus on duty in the middle of Lasalle Street Charlotte, NC.

The incident began with a road rage encounter with 2 motorists driving cars. One of the motorists shot at the other vehicle. The shot missed the vehicle and hit the bus driver instead.The male bus driver was shot in the chest, the bus stopped in the middle of the road. The 2 motorists involved in road rage kept driving. Large amounts of blood was flowing from the bus driver’s chest.
The bus driver, screamed, “Help me, I’ve been shot, Lord Jesus!!”
Passengers on the bus rushed to call 911 and help the driver.
The victim was taken to the hospital. The passengers were put on another bus. The bus that was shot into was towed away from the scene.
