On January 17, 2023 a shooting erupted at the Walmart on Wilkinson Blvd. Charlotte, NC. The shooting was around 7 p.m.
An altercation in the parking lot between people escalated to the point that shots were fired and one person was shot.
The suspects fled the scene. Paramedics arrived and found the victim on the ground shot and bleeding.
The victim was taken to Atrium Hospital with life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing. See here the many shootings and murders that have taken place at Walmart.
