A homicide occurred on September 9, 2023 at an apartment complex on Prospect Drive Charlotte, NC. At 1:30 a.m., officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon with injury call. Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim with a gunshot wound. Officers pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.Homicide unit detectives responded to the scene to conduct an investigation, and Crime Scene Search responded to process the scene and collect physical evidence. No arrests have been made.
