Erin Koballa pled guilty to DWI, she is owner of Charlotte Companion Animal Hospital
Dr. Erin Koballa, 34, pled guilty to DWI in April 2025. Erin is the owner of veterinary business Charlotte Companion Animal Hospital. Doctor Erin had a 0.16 blood alcohol content. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Doctor Erin was arrested in July 2024 on Park Road Charlotte, NC after a night of drinking heavy alcoholic beverages.
Erin was arrested charged with DWI. She had a blood alcohol level of 0.16. Nearly a year later in April 2025 Erin pled guilty to DWI. Doctor Erin was placed on unsupervised probation for 12 months.

Erin had to pay over $600 in fees after her DWI conviction. Doctor Erin must also surrender her drivers license to the clerk of superior court and not operate a motor vehicle until her driving privilege is restored.
Doctor Erin was also given 24 hours of community service. Dr. Koballa graduated with a bachelors degree from Duke University, she majored in psychology with a focus on biology and neuroscience. She also played soccer for Duke.
Dr. Koballa went to veterinary school at North Carolina State University.
