11-year-old Ahmad Wrighten was murdered on June 15, 2023 in Charlotte, NC. Anthony Wigfall, 34, and Demetria Robinson, 32, are charged with Ahmad’s homicide.
At 11:30 p.m. on June 15th 911 was called in reference to a shooting on Sunwalk Court at a residence. Police arrived and found Ahmad in critical condition.
Ahmad was taken to the hospital by paramedics. He died at the hospital upon arriving. On June 16th Anthony and Demeteria were arrested charged with the murder of Ahmad.
It is still unclear what exactly occurred.
