TEENAGER ACCUSED OF MURDERING MAN AT APARTMENTS

Illya Armstead, 28, was shot and killed on April 4, 2023 on Lucy Jane Lane Charlotte, NC. Shaniyah McClain, 19, is charged with Illya’s murder.

Illya was shot several times at an apartment complex parking lot in the afternoon hours. 911 was called and paramedics responded to the scene.

Medics provided emergency care, but the victim was pronounced deceased on site. Shaniyah was quickly located and arrested, she is charged with murder.
