Shots were fired and a teen was murdered in Charlotte
Alexander Cruz Martinez, 16, was murdered in a violent shooting on October 1, 2025 at a shopping center on Metropolitan Avenue Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Alexander was in the parking deck allegedly trying to buy a gun from someone. At 8 p.m., Alexander was shot in the parking garage near the Target store.
Alexander died following the shooting. A 17-year-old was later arrested charged with murdering the victim.
