Jamir Easter, 18, is charged with killing 17-year-old Avyon Thomas in Charlotte, NC. Avyon was shot and killed at a party on January 7, 2024. Avyon was a senior at Myers Park High School.
The gunshots sent people running for cover. 911 was called, when paramedics arrived, they pronounced Avyon dead on scene. Jamir was arrested on the same day of the shooting and charged with involuntary manslaughter.
