SUSPECT ARRESTED AFTER LATINA FEMALE KILLED IN DWI HEAD ON CRASH

68-year-old Felix Davila was arrested on January 13, 2025 accused of killing Yaneth Del Carmen Guevara, 40, in a head on DWI truck collision in Charlotte, NC. The crash was on January 11, 2025 but Felix was just released from the hospital.

Felix was driving a Chevrolet truck driving on the wrong side of the road on WT Harris Blvd. The Chevrolet collided head on with Yaneth while she was driving a Honda. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.

Felix also collided with a Ram pickup truck, that impact then caused a Kia to collide with the Ram truck. Officers responded to the scene and found all 4 vehicles with extensive damage. The driver of the Honda, Yaneth died on impact.

The driver of the Chevrolet truck Felix suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. Medic transported seven individuals to area hospitals for treatment.

Felix stayed in the hospital for a few days. On January 13th he was released from the hospital and arrested charged with felony death by vehicle and four counts of felony serious injuries by vehicle.
