17-year-old Jadynn Hamilton is accused of murdering his grandmother in church on October 29, 2025. The victim is 73-year-old Ollie Hamilton. The homicide was at Smith Chapel Holiness Church in Athens, Mississippi.
Jadynn was angry over a minor dispute with his grandmother Ollie. Jadyn is accused of beating grandma Ollie to death inside the church. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
A 911 call was placed and EMS found Miss Ollie dead. Jadyn allegedly confessed to beating and stabbing his grandmother to death at the church. Jadyn had no prior run ins with law enforcement.
Jadyn was arrested charged with murder.
