An undercover investigation led to alleged illegal slot machines and gambling operations
Daniel Houser, 24, Marissa Strickland, 39, and Anaya Guy, 21, were arrested in Charlotte, NC charged with gambling. Marissa owns Queen City Arcade, located at 741 Westinghouse Boulevard Charlotte, NC, she and several employees were arrested in a undercover gambling sting. Click here to see more gambling news.

Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department cops conducted an undercover investigation into violations of an illegal gambling establishment located at Queen City Arcade. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

During this investigation it was determined that Marissa was identified as an owner of the operation of Queen City Arcade. The investigation began in June of 2023. Marissa was so pretty, that she was even featured in our “Too pretty for jail” series.
Queen City Arcade had more than 5 Ultimate Fire Link games court documents say. In June 2025 undercover pollce entered the business and played slot machines.

Some of the undercover cops won money from the slot machines and were paid out by employees at Queen City Arcade.

Approximately 100 slot machines or gaming devices were observed by undercover detectives in violation of NCGS 14-309.
Daniel, Anaya, and Marissa were all arrested charged with gambling. Anaya and Marissa were also charged with operate video gaming machine, gambling slot machines manufacture/sale, and operate/posses slot machines.
