A triple shooting left one person dead on July 5, 2025 in uptown Charlotte, NC on North Caldwell Street. This marks the 5th person killed this week in Charlotte. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
At 1:30 a.m., several people were gathering for a 4th of July party. A fight broke out and shots were fired. 3 people were shot marking this as a triple shooting.
Officers responded to the scene and discovered two victims who had sustained apparent gunshot wounds. Click here to see more triple shootings.
One of the victims was pronounced deceased on scene. The other victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Later on, officers discovered a third victim who self transported to the hospital with gunshot injuries.
