Nina Kalapuch was killed in a head on collision
79-year-old Nina Kalapuch, 79, was killed on June 9, 2025 on Margaret Wallace Rd. Charlotte, NC. Nina immigrated to the United States from Argentina in the 1970s. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Nina was driving a Toyota Camry at approximately 3:08 p.m., when she drove off the road and struck a retaining wall. Nina’s complete front end was obliterated.
EMS arrived on scene to find Nina unconscious. She was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Nina later was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Alcohol impairment and speed are not suspected to be contributing factors of this crash.
Nina leaves behind a daughter and a large family.
