A dinner and Uber ride went terribly wrong, Madison was shot, her boo Jacquez was killed, all inside an Uber. Doctor Umar has not commented on this relationship
On November 24, 2025 Trevor Powell, 34, was sentenced to life in prison after a jury found him guilty of murdering 19-year-old Jacquez Moore while he was in an Uber ride with his girlfriend Madison Geise, 28, in Charlotte, NC. On February 2, 2020, Super Bowl Sunday, Jacquez and his girlfriend Madison were in a Uber that picked them up after they dined at a restaurant on Chancellor Park Dr. Super Bowl Sundays have had plenty of murders and crimes over the years. Trevor had been waiting for an hour for them to come out of the restaurant.
The Uber was on W.T. Harris Blvd. near Old Concord Rd. when Trevor pulled up in a rental vehicle and shot at the Uber several times. Uber and Lyft rides are becoming increasingly violent.
Jacquez was shot and died on scene, Madison was also shot. The Uber driver was not shot. Trevor fled the scene immediately after the shooting. Madison was taken to the hospital with surgical injuries.

Cops were able to see camera footage that got Trevor’s license plate, and it was determined that the vehicle was a rental. Trevor was arrested on February 5, 2020 charged with murder.
Cellphone data recovered by detectives revealed that Trevor monitored the victim’s social media accounts to see where he and Madison would be and sent texts alluding to shooting the victim when he found him.
Detectives also recovered a video on Trevor’s phone that he took of the victim and his girlfriend outside of the restaurant while they were waiting on their Uber.

At trial a jury found Trevor guilty of first degree murder, three counts of discharging a weapon into occupied property, and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
