On October 2, 2024 a Uber driver was seen on video punching a passenger over an argument about leg room in the vehicle. The assault was in Dallas, TX.
Suleman Gauba, 68, was getting a Uber ride with his wife to go to Walmart. The Uber driver described as a large black male arrived. Suleman and his wife then get in the back seat of the Uber ride.
Suleman asked the Uber driver to move up his seat to provide more leg room in the back. An argument began and the Uber driver cancelled the ride.
Suleman and his wife then get out of the vehicle. The Uber driver is seen getting out too and following behind Suleman. The Uber driver then punches Suleman in the back of the head.
Suleman falls to the ground in pain and shock. The Uber driver then leaves. Suleman and his wife called 911. The Uber driver has not been identified or arrested yet.
