MAN AND TEEN ARRESTED UPON HOMICIDE OF MALE VICTIM

A 17-year-old male juvenile and Zantavious Walker, 25, were arrested on November 25, 2025 charged with the murder of Peter Batista Fana, 51, on Winding Branch Court Charlotte, NC.

The actual shooting was on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025 at 10:51 p.m. Someone shot into Peter’s home. Peter was shot. A woman and infant child were in the home too, but were not shot.

Peter was rushed to the hospital via ambulance. Peter died a day later on October 9th while receiving care at the hospital. On Tuesday, Nov. 25th Walker and the teen suspect were arrested charged with Peter’s murder.
