FATHER MURDERED IN SHOOTING, FOUND DEAD IN CAR

Marquavious White, 27, was murdered on February 12, 2023 on Industrial Drive Pineville, NC. 19-year-old Brandon Hynson is charged with this murder.

At 1 a.m. a shootout took place, rapid gunfire was heard. Marquavious and a juvenile were in a vehicle together. Marquavious was shot multiple times.

The juvenile left the vehicle after the shooting and ran for help.

911 was called and cops found a stalled vehicle and a dead body. The murder was near the offices along Industrial Drive, near the intersection of Interstate 485 and South Boulevard.

Marquavious was found dead in the vehicle. Brandon was arrested on Sunday night February 12th, and charged with 1st-degree murder, attempted 1st-degree murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and discharging a firearm.

Marquavious was a young father and leaves behind a loving family.

Steven Gomez, 15, was shot and killed on February 12, 2023 in Charlotte while playing video games. Steven was a freshman at Independence High School.
