2 PEOPLE KILLED IN 3 VEHICLE CRASH IN SOUTH CHARLOTTE

Angel Enrique Lopez-Alvarado, 41, was killed in a three vehicle pile up crash on Friday, February 10, 2023. The wreck was on Providence Road Charlotte, NC. Mitchell Virgulti, 32, was also killed in the crash. 

At 12:28 p.m., Mitchell was driving a Jeep on Providence Road, the jeep crossed the center line and struck a Ford Econoline van head-on. Angel was driving the Ford.

A Hyundai then struck the rear of the Ford van. Angel was wearing a seat belt.

Upon arrival, officers located the jeep and the van with heavy front end damage sitting in the roadway, and the Hyundai with front end damage.

Mitchell and Angel were pronounced deceased on scene. Medic transported the driver and front passenger of the Hyundai to an area hospital, they survived and are in stable condition.

Angel was a father and leaves behind young kids.
