Abigail Ramirez Romero, 39, was killed in a vehicular collision on February 10, 2024 on Central Ave. Charlotte, NC.
The crash was on Feb. 10th at 1:45 a.m. and involved a Chevrolet and a Honda. Abigail was a passenger in the Chevrolet.
The Chevrolet was traveling west on Central Avenue and entered the intersection at North Sharon Amity Road with a solid red light in its direction of travel, causing the Honda and Chevrolet to collide.
After the collision, the Chevrolet continued east on Central Avenue and rolled onto the passenger side.
Occupants of the Honda Accord were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash. Abigail was ejected from the vehicle and injured. Passengers from the Honda were also injured.
The driver of the Chevrolet ran away from the crash and has not been located. Impairment is suspected for the driver of the Chevrolet.
