Meet Carlos, fed up with life and the way things are going he decides to step in front of a CATS 10 ton light rail Lynx train, ending his life, he called family an hour before but no one answered
32-year-old Carlos Michilena was killed after being hit by a CATS Lynx light rail train on North Tryon Street Charlotte, NC on April 18, 2026 during a suicide.
It is unknown why Carlos wanted to end his own life. His father died prior and a little girl in his family named Kamelah died previously also.
At 5:47 a.m. Carlos was at the railroad crossing on North Tryon Street when he stepped in the way of an oncoming Lynx light rail train to commit suicide.
The CATS Lynx train tried to stop but the 10 ton train ran over Carlos, crushed him up, and chopped him into pieces. Carlos died instantly. Blood filled the scene.
An hour before the suicide, Carlos tried calling a family member, but they were sleep and could not answer the phone.
