20-year-old Lamar McCoy was murdered during a shooting on June 9, 2022 outside of a business on North Chester Street Gastonia, NC.
At 4:49 p.m. Lamar was shot and pronounced deceased at the scene from apparent gunshot wounds. Bullet holes at the scene were punctured into the victim vehicle.
There is no suspect information available at this time.
The road will be closed for an extended period of time as the investigation and crime scene analysis continues.
