DRIVE-BY SHOOTING KILLS TEEN IN WEST CHARLOTTE

A deadly drive-by shooting killed 17-year-old Jayden Blackmon on February 19, 2023 on Lynn Street Charlotte, NC.

The shooting was at apartments around 4 p.m. The victim was at the apartment complex parking lot socializing with several people.

A vehicle quickly drove by and shot several times. Jayden was shot multiple times. The suspect vehicle then sped off.

Paramedics took Jayden to the hospital, where he later died. It is not known if anyone else was shot. No arrests have been made.

Another teenager was shot and killed earlier this week. Steven Gomez Mendoza, 15, was shot and killed on February 12, 2023.

Deshaun Moore, 30, was murdered on February 12, 2023 on Billy Graham Parkway Charlotte, NC. On February 13, 2023 Thomas Glover, 23, was charged with Deshaun’s murder.

23-year-old Dionyah Thompson was murdered on Valentine’s Day February 14, 2023 in Charlotte after wining the lottery.
