3-year-old Corben Murray was killed on October 28, 2023 on Brookshire Boulevard Charlotte, NC in a deadly wreck.
The crash was at 12:47 a.m. The preliminary investigation revealed that Samantha Murray, 34, was walking with her son Corben and a second juvenile on Brookshire Blvd. The three pedestrians were walking in a crosswalk when an 18-wheeler Freightliner truck struck Samantha and her son Corben. Officers responded to the scene and found young Corben on the ground bleeding. Samantha was on the ground badly injured.
Paramedics arrived on scene and pronounced Corben deceased at 12:59 a.m. due to injuries he sustained from the crash.
Samantha was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The third juvenile pedestrian was transported to the hospital with no injuries.
The driver of the Freightliner, remained on scene and did not sustain any injuries.
