CHICK-FIL-A OWNER OPERATOR ACCUSED OF SEXUAL RELATIONS WITH TEEN VICTIM

49-year-old Stacy Austin was arrested on March 5, 2024 accused of having sexual relations with a 15-year-old victim in Rowan County, NC. Stacy owns a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Belmont, Ohio.

Stacy met the teen victim on social media and engaged in conversation. Stacy then drove from Ohio all the way to North Carolina to meet the teenager. 

Stacy showed up on March 5th and the teen let Stacy inside the house. Stacy is then accused of having sexual relations with the teen. 

The teen’s parent came home during the encounter and caught Stacy and the teen in bed together, according to police. 

The parent held Stacy at gunpoint and called police. Cops say they found Stacy’s underwear in the trash can at the teen’s residence, also the juvenile’s clothing was found in the trash can.

Stacy was arrested and charged with statutory sex offense with a child. 

During police interrogation Stacy said he was concerned about losing his job as an owner of the Chick-fil-A in Ohio.

Chick-fil-A released a statement:

“We have zero tolerance for the type of serious conduct alleged. Stacy Austin currently is an independent franchise owner, but as the investigation and legal process continues, he will not be present in the restaurant.”
