On June 13, 2022 a Door Dash delivery food driver shot a 17-year-old Chick-fil-a employee on the job in Philadelphia, PA. The Door Dash driver was picking up a Chick-fil-A order to deliver to a customer.
But the Door Dash driver believed a milkshake was missing in the order and informed a Chick-fil-A employee, the Chick-fil-A employee asked to see a receipt, but the Door Dash driver could not produce one.
The Chick-fil-A employee informed a manager. The Door Dash driver then pulled off and shot the Chick-fil-A employee in the leg. The Door Dash driver was apprehended hours later. The Chick-fil-A employee was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
The Door Dash driver was 26-years-old. No charges have been filed yet.
