James Pritchard, 73, killed himself on August 8, 2024 at apartments on Lucy Jane Lane Charlotte, NC. James was in the United States Army, going to combat in the Vietnam War.
At 6:30 a.m. James was in a vehicle when he shot himself dead in a suicide. Several residents heard the gunshot and called 911. Click here to see suicides in Charlotte.
Multiple police departments responded to the scene. Paramedics attempted to revive James, but were unsuccessful.
James leaves behind adult children and grandchildren.
