Shawdai was sick in the hospital for days from unknown causes. Family and friends gathered around Shawdai for comfort and prayers.
But she died in the afternoon on June 15, 2025. Shawdai had a brief stint on American Idol as a contestant, but she never made it to the final round and she did not win the contest.
An autopsy will likely be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. It appears that Shawdai also had a brother named Mario Crowe that was a star football player at the #1 ranked high school football team in the nation, Independence High School.
In 2016 Shawdai was pregnant with a baby. It appears she gave birth around summer 2016.
