Jacob Ramos, 18, and Emanuel Isaac Parada, 21, pled guilty to murdering Ja’Kez Kyiesh Johnson, 19, in Charlotte, NC. Both suspects pled guilty in June 2026 to the murder. Jacob was arrested on his birthday for the murder.
Ja’kez was murdered during a shooting on Curtiswood Drive Charlotte, NC in July 2023. Paramedics transported Ja’kez to Atrium Health Main Hospital with life threatening injuries. Days later on July 10th Ja’Kez died at the hospital.
Emanuel and Jacob were arrested in the case. At the trial in 2026 Emanuel pled guilty to 2nd degree murder and was given 157-201 months in prison.
Jacob was arrested on his birthday charged with murder.
Jacob pled guilty to second degree murder and was sentenced to 157-201 months in prison.
