Two Charlotte residents are charged with running from cops in a speedy Dodge Charger
Charlotte, NC residents Ka’Nautica Todd, 23, and Asiah Clyde, 20, were arrested on August 16, 2025 accused of leading cops on a high speed chase in a Dodge Charger vehicle in Monroe, NC.

At 10:15 a.m. on August 16th a Monroe Police Department officer attempted to stop a Dodge Charger after noticing it had a fake license plate. Instead of pulling over, the driver sped off.
During the pursuit, the Dodge Charger crashed into another car but kept going at a high rate of speed. No serious injuries were reported from the crash.
The pursuit continued into Indian Trail with the assistance of Union County Sheriff’s Office and then into Matthews with the assistance of Matthews Police Department. The pursuit finally came to an end in Matthews, where officers safely stopped the car and arrested both people inside.
Officers later discovered the Dodge Charger had been reported stolen. Both the driver and passenger had outstanding warrants for their arrest. The driver was Ka’Nautica Todd and is facing several charges, including possession of a stolen motor vehicle, felony flee to elude arrest, felony hit and run, and driving while license revoked.
The passenger was Asiah Clyde she was arrested and served with an outstanding felony warrant.
