Malik had over 200,000 followers on TikTok and was rising in the social media world. Malik recently moved to Charlotte, NC from California. Malik was also in the Alpha Fraternity.
Malik was in a SUV when it lost control and overturned, rolling down a 20 foot drop. Malik died on impact. It is not known if any other vehicles were involved. It is also too early to know if alcohol was involved.
No foul play is suspected.
