MAN IN DODGE CHARGER ACCUSED OF HAVING 4.5 BRICKS OF MARIJUANA

On December 18, 2024 Trevun Ratliff, 29, was arrested on drug trafficking charges in Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Trevun was driving a Grey Dodge Charger, cops say he was speeding and failing to signal a lane change on East WT Harris Blvd. Dodge Chargers are very popular and fast cars, many people with drugs have been arrested in the fast vehicles.

Police pulled Trevun over and detected the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Due to the odor of marijuana officers asked for consent to search the passenger compartment of the vehicle for firearms. 

Police say Trevun gave consent and officers conducted a weapon frisk pat down. Upon opening the center console officers observed a plastic baggie with marijuana. 

A Draco AK style pistol and MDMA pills were located in the Dodge Charger. Cops executed a search warrant at Trevun’s home and found 10-20 pounds of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, and two AR-15 style rifles along with a large amount of money.

Trevun was arrested charged with drug trafficking offenses.
