A deadly accident on the job killed 27-year-old Robert Anthony Mediate on December 18, 2024 at Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC. The death occurred at the business on Westinghouse Boulevard. Siemens Energy produces power transformers and other technology. Robert had the job for 6 months.
The deadly work accident was at 5 p.m. Robert was handling the large power machines when he either fell in a dangerous area of the machine or got electrocuted.
Multiple employees saw the fatal encounter and tried to help Robert, but to no avail. Robert died immediately. The North Carolina Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Division is investigating the incident.
