The suspect had $200,000 and allegedly several bricks of cocaine
Saul Aguilar, 33, was arrested on June 9, 2025 accused of trafficking cocaine in Charlotte, NC. The feds were watching him. Kilogram drug busts are popping up all across Charlotte.
Members of the DEA task force had been conducting an investigation of money laundering and drug trafficking allegedly involving Saul Aguilar. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
On June 9, 2025, DEA agents conducted surveillance on Saul where they observed him enter a black 2023 GMC truck in a parking deck on 309 East Morehead Avenue.
Saul retrieved bags from the truck and transferred them to a white Toyota C-HR. A traffic stop on the Toyota was attempted by cops. Saul is accused of fleeing from the traffic stop.
Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle abandoned on Galloway Park Drive. The suspect had fled on foot. Soon after agents located Saul and arrested him.
$200,000 cash dollars was located along with 7.7 pounds of cocaine, federal officials say. Saul was arrested charged with trafficking cocaine.
