32-year-old Vinay Lonkar was arrested on December 13, 2024 accused of DWI in Charlotte, NC.
Vinay was driving a vehicle on University City Blvd. According to court documents, Vinay did not have his lights on and he swerved onto the shoulder of the road twice.
Vinay is also accused of swerving in and out of his proper lane of travel. A police officer then pulled Vinay over for a DWI traffic stop.
A doctor identified as Maria Glenn was arrested charged with DWI in Charlotte
Cops say alcohol impaired Vinay’s mental and physical faculties. Prosecutors allege Vinay had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath.
Field sobriety tests were administered on Vinay which police say he performed poorly on. Vinay was then arrested charged with DWI.
