9-month-old Darius King Grigsby was shot and killed in a wild murder on November 9, 2022. Baby Darius was killed in Merced, CA.
At approximately 12:36 P.M. Darius was being pushed in a stroller by his mother who was walking down the street with her boyfriend. A vehicle drove by and one of the occupants opened fire, striking the baby.
The parents quickly ran and took the baby into a nearby McDonalds for help. Police arrived on scene and the baby was pronounced deceased.
Detectives are still conducting a thorough canvass of the area for witnesses and video surveillance. This investigation remains ongoing, and no suspects have been identified at this time.
