SHOOTING AT NORTH LAKE MALL, SEVERAL INJURED

A shooting transpired at North Lake Mall on February 5, 2023 at 6801 Northlake Mall Drive Charlotte, NC. Several people were hurt during the shooting. 

Around 2 pm a dispute between 2 parties turned into shots fired in front of the DTLR store at North Lake Mall. Gripping video shows a mall shooting in the Mall at Millenia in Orlando, Fl.

The parties were arguing, when things escalated and the parties began shooting at each other. The suspects then ran. Hundreds of people in the mall ran for cover and to exits.

A double shooting occurred at North Lake Mall just days before Christmas 2022

Some customers hid in stores, in the back cargo area. Several stores closed their entrance gates.

A lock down was administered on the mall. At least 2 people were hurt during the shooting, although they were not shot. The injuries of the injured resulted from trips and falls, trying to escape the shots.

The mall is closed for the day. No arrests have been made. Video shows Dominic Jeter, 23, being shot and killed at Concord Mills mall in 2022.
