MURDER IN UPTOWN CHARLOTTE ON VALENTINE’S DAY

A homicide occurred on Valentine’s Day February 14, 2023. The homicide was in uptown Charlotte, NC on South Tryon Street.

Just after midnight shots were fired and a victim was hit. The victim died on the scene. Emergency officials responded to the shots fired and found the victim dead. 

Steven Gomez, 15, was shot and killed on February 12, 2023 in Charlotte while playing video games. Steven was a freshman at Independence High School.
