Terry Thompson, 51, is charged with the homicide of Leon Mack, 71. The victim was shot and killed on February 17, 2023 in uptown Charlotte, NC on North Poplar Street.
Leon was shot and killed around 10:30 a.m., in a truck during an alleged street robbery. Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Leon dead. Terry was arrested about an hour later and charged with murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Leon had grandchildren, adult children, and a loving family.
